Aleksey was born on August, 4th, 1976 in Moscow.

When Aleksey was 13 years old he began to study playing guitar. In 1992 Aleksey became interested in neoclassical and classical music. Till 1997 he played heavy metal with various groups, including Niefelheim and Shadow host. Four years later Aleksey was involved in progressive rock and decided to change my musical preference.

In 2002 he organized his first musical project Vigilia, but, unfortunately, it existed only half of a year. Since 2002 till 2006 Aleksey recorded 3 demo-albums in Symphonic progressive rock. But he could not possess a lack of members in his group. So he decided to stop the activity of Vigilia for the time being.

“That time I took a great interest in a jazz, fusion, and in a bass guitar and I decided to look for a suitable group. So I found Sergey's announcement. He was looking for a bass-guitarist. So in the summer of 2006 I became the participant of a trio, which was later named Inner Drive”.

“There is a great number of musicians, who influenced me: Alfred Shnitke, Marillion, Planet X, Dream theatre (3 the first an album), Sieges even, Univers zero, Tribal tech, Tony Macalpine, Steve Vai, Ron Jarzombek, Vitalij Kuprij, Gary Willis, Adam Nitti, Dave Weckl, Cab etc”.
